Group: Animatic

The purpose of this task was to get an idea of what angles, distances and movement we need and the variety of shots needed to get an A.
Firstly we drew the narrative in order showing the different locations and the narrative in them. Then we filmed the sequence with a school camera and tripod, before editing it on Premiere. We also added in some stills from the internet, and a piece of footage from a previous school visit to Brighton, of the Ferris wheel, which is meant to represent the London eye.
From completing this task, we learnt that we need a lot more footage than we had planned, and more different angles. Nearly all the shots are tracking shots, but we also need to include more than just tracking in every shot, for example canted angles or close-ups.
